How to Use SLO MakerSpace
There are many ways to join us and get your make on!
You can join as a member with 24/7 access, rent a cube as a Restident Maker, check us out using one of our Partner Passes (including with the SLO County Libraries!), visit us for an Orientation before you sign up, participate in one of our Make n' Take classes...and more!

Membership
We offer both individual and family memberships!
Membership to SLO MakerSpace means 24/7 access to our creative spaces- with great power comes great responsibility!
Becoming a member of SLO MakerSpace starts with you taking our General Orienation which is complimatary! You can sign up for one here. Closed toe shoes are required at all times in SLO MakerSpace.
We strive for a community of conscientious makers and before you get started we need to show you around and get to know your style of making and how best to support you in the space. Our Ambassadors all started out as members just like you and you're likely to meet one or two during the Orientation. If you think you'd like to be one, just let us know!
Once you've completed the General Orientation, you'll be able to sign up for membership and schedule your Key Orientation appointment. That is when one of our team members will make you a key and teach you how to take care of SLO MakerSpace and participate as a part of the community.
Once you're a member, you can sign up for the specific Orientations in order to get started using the tools you need to get your craft going!

Partner Pass Program
We have partnered with the SLO country libraries and some local businesses and are thrilled to offer access at a reduced cost- and in some cases, free!
This amazing opportunity means you can use much of the space without paying for membership just yet.
Wednesday through Friday, 4 PM to 8 PM and Saturday, 3 PM to 7 PM, bring your SLO County library card or Partner Pass from your employer and come to use parts of the space and preview others!
Note: Not all tools and spaces are available to non-members using these free-access hours, and Orientations are still required in order for you to gain access to the tools you would like to use.
Sign up here for a General Orientation and be sure to let us know you would like to learn more about Partner Pass Access.
Not sure? Check with your workplace to see if they're one of our Partner Pass Partners!
